A platform to discourse, and debate aimed at nurturing cultural exchanges, we explored the root causes of conflicts, envisioning a world free from violence and instability.

2023 was a year of unimaginable conflict and heartbreaking devastation. Amid these challenging times, it was key to host honest conversations on the global geopolitical landscape and cut through fake news. The rapid response on events focused on the current situation reflected in the interest and number of attendees. Our ability to respond rapidly to changing global events, made this our second most popular theme.

Excellent topic, not often spoken about in a public forum setting and deserves a lot more attention from anyone concerned with social justice.

The Elders are an independent group of global leaders founded by Nelson Mandela in 2007, who work together for peace, justice, human rights and a sustainable planet. The event at The Conduit delved into the pressing issue of the climate crisis, highlighting the urgent need for action against existential threats such as future pandemics, nuclear weapons, and the unchecked advance of artificial intelligence. The discourse underscored the necessity for leaders to exhibit bravery and political valour in making decisive choices.
