After 3 years of research and with children as co-designers, Ambessa Play has just launched a ‘DIY flashlight’ on Kickstarter with 480+ global backers. For every kit purchased, a refugee child out of school receives one for free.​

​Katie Hodgetts is founder of The Resilience Project,
a youth-led community project that empowers young leaders to become climate change-makers through peer-support established through ‘Resilience Circles’ and in-person ‘Resilience Residentials’. To date, The Resilience Project has trained 27 young climate leaders, established 13 Resilience Circles globally and moved 160 young people through the programme.
