This process was informed by our members at The Conduit. We received 65 recommendations from advocates within our membership, as well as from experts within their networks. These recommendations were then assessed by (non-conflicted) volunteer advocates from within our membership, who in partnership with the BRLCF narrowed down the applications to 20 organisations. This expert support provided by a combination of in-house staff from The Conduit, members and external consultants, enabled BRLCF to allocate €1 million to seven organisations across the world, working with refugees and conflict-affected young people.​
