Following our open call for greening solutions for the city, we selected a diverse group of grassroots innovators, practitioners and experts. They took part in a collaborative pitching day that culminated in The Crown Estate selecting one idea to progress to a feasibility study for piloting in Haymarket in Central London.
While everyone came to the day as individuals, Alistair Law, Miles Irving and James Pyne came together to form the winning concept – an interactive Living Wall, named “Who Else Lives Here?”
The winning idea combined a unique vertical greening solution with foraging education – and we saw unique and unexpected collaboration ideas throughout the day that The Crown Estate are interested in taking forward.
